Mortgage Finance
Mortgage finance is a form of credit. It involves a lender
providing resources to a debtor. The mortgage itself, however, is not
the debt. Rather, it exists as the lender's security for the debt.
In different countries, mortgage finance will involve different terminology.
However, the similar concepts means that there are similar parties involved.
Of course, there is the borrower, or mortgagor, and the lender, or mortgagee.
Mortgage finance will also commonly involve other participants. These
include legal representatives, such as lawyers, solicitors, and conveyancers.
There are also mortgage brokers and financial advisors.
