Finance Company
A finance
company may also be known as a financial institution. They are an
important aspect of financial economics. They provide financial services
for their particular clients or members. Due to the nature of their
work, they are highly regulated by the government.
When it comes to finance company types, there are three major groups.
The first are deposit-taking types. Banks, credit unions, and companies
which deal with trust or mortgage loan fall under these categories.
Not only do they accept and manage deposits, they also make loans.
Another finance company group is that of insurance companies and pension
funds. The third group is that of brokers and underwriters. Investment
funds also fall under this final category.
